About Biocoop
The Biocoop is a cooperative for consumers of organic products.
Composed by a team that supports the member of Biocoop. We feature a wine expert, a farmer, a vegetetarian and dietetic products virtuoso.
Every one can be a member of the cooperative (families or companies).
Member application shoud be done at Biocoop and approved by management.
Built in 1993, Biocoop started in Lisbon downtown. In 2000, the cooperative moved to Prior Velho.
In 2008 began the second expansion.
All the products of Biocoop are from organic agriculture with exception of some like salt.
When salt is certified organic the certification refers to the process of collection of sea.
But if it is organic, the Biocoop has!
Fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, grocery, frozen food, cleaning products for house (ecological), hygiene products (ecological), food and higiene (ecological) for baby and even food for pets are available in Biocoop.
